Our Promise to You

To every family that walks through our doors, we promise:

Neuronest is built primarily for neurodivergent children. Siblings and friends are genuinely welcome too, we believe children grow up kinder and more understanding when they play side by side.

Understanding without judgment

We meet every family exactly where they are, without assumptions or expectations.

Empathy and kindness

Every interaction at Neuronest is grounded in genuine care for your child and your family.

Support tailored to your child

We recognise that every neurodivergent child is unique. Our support reflects that.

Commitment to development

We are invested in your child's growth and success, not just their time with us today.

A true partnership

You know your child best. We work with you, not around you, on this journey.

A community that shows up

We celebrate your victories and walk alongside you through the challenges.

Neuronest reception

Who we are and why we exist

Neuronest was founded by a family with lived experience of raising a neurodivergent child. Finding a play space that truly understood their child, one designed for them rather than just tolerant of them, proved almost impossible in Nairobi.

After being asked to leave a play area within thirty minutes, and watching their child retreat to the quietest corner of another space just to cope, the decision was made: build what does not exist.

For a full year, the founding family consulted occupational therapists, speech therapists, behavioural specialists, and early childhood development experts. Neuronest opened in January 2026, a space built from lived experience rather than good intentions.

"
We want every parent who walks through that door to feel like they have arrived. Like someone finally knows what they have been through. And like their child is safe here, truly safe.
The Neuronest Founding Family

What we built inside Neuronest

Sensory swings, trapeze bars and Ninja Warrior Swing for vestibular input and movement
Crash pit and climbing wall for safe proprioceptive exploration
Quiet Room for children who need to regulate away from the group
Sensory wall with tactile panels, mirrors and light elements
Creative play pods for art, imagination and connection
Learning room with structured play tools and sensory activities
Therapy suites for occupational therapy and speech therapy on site
Visual schedules and clear signage throughout the space
ECD trained play attendants on the floor at all times

The play area is just the beginning

We are building a full ecosystem of support for neurodivergent children and their families, including access for families who cannot afford market rates.

When typical children grow up playing alongside neurodivergent children, understanding grows and fear does not. Inclusion shapes the adults those children become and the society we all share. That work starts here.
